Artist Lucia Mondadori's Aisha totem invokes the naiveté of childhood play. Hand-sculpted from white chamotte clay, the Aisha totem is composed of two separate pieces that come together to create a totem structure. Like two pebbles balancing in perfect equilibrium atop the curved base. Mondadori carefully sands down the sculpture to reveal the specks of natural stone that lie underneath.
Available exclusively on Modern Metier. Oxidation fired at 1280 degrees celsius. Water resistant.
