Designed by the founder of volta, Agathe Lavaud, the Meï collection is a modern take on a traditionally humble material. Developed in collaboration with Portuguese atelier Trizzano, the recycled cork is compressed, creating an innovative pattern that mimics the appearance of stone. Renewable and sustainable, cork is harvested from the bark of cork oaks every nine years. Each Meï piece is dyed with natural tints and paired with cotton velvet upholstery in the same tone. Suitable for use in furniture and cabinetry.
