Camber Chair

The Camber Chair by Dutch designer Paul Coenen originated from the idea of manufacturing a piece of furniture from a single piece of sheet metal. The inclining angle of the seat forms the basis for the rest of the design. Each bench starts from a flat rectangular sheet, where two angular cuts are made to the metal. Three folds are made lengthwise by machine before the legs are bent by hand into the right angle.
