Parisian-based architecture firm Fendler-Semuller worked hand in hand with interior designer Damien Langlois-Meurinne in transforming a former law office into a luxurious home. Located on the city’s Rive Gauche, the apartment spans 430m² and overlooks the sprawling garden of a well-known hotel particulier in Faubourg Saint-Germain.
Given a carte blanche by the owners of the apartment, the interior designer set out to create strikingly different atmospheres in each room. Langlois-Meurinne deftly mixed pieces by contemporary French designers such as Hervé Van der Straeten and Eric Schmitt alongside antiques and modernist designs by Italian architect Carlo Carli, to build a layered and lived-in home.
