Located in the lively neighbourhood of Château Rouge in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, this 85m² corner apartment was entirely renovated by architecture firm Heros Architecture. The eight-story stone building dates back to the Haussmann period, with two apartments on each floor forming a U-shape, an architectural custom of the era. Basking in natural light throughout the day from the apartment’s south-east orientiation, the rooms face the street with each living area suceeding the next. The architects mixed classic Haussmanian elements such as herringbone parquet flooring, marble fireplaces and crown moulding with more modern touches. In the bedroom, a steel wall with integrated metal nightstands and wall sconces brings a cool backdrop to a mostly-white room.
