Our goal is to bring you a seamless shopping experience in your quest to find beautiful furniture, lighting and home decor. Each one of our brands and designers work closely with artisans across different métiers including carpentry, glassblowing and metalwork, to create pieces that are imbued with care and quality.

Minh Ngo
Following a career in the fashion and luxury industry as a digital marketer and e-commerce consultant, Minh began Modern Metier with the desire to create an online destination for people who admire and appreciate great design. Seeing the way that people discover and shop for their interiors is being transformed through e-commerce, she believed in an opportunity to build a platform dedicated to contemporary furniture, lighting and decor.
Based in Paris for over five years, the Australian-born entrepreneur has lived in major design capitals including London and Stockholm. Her experiences and eye, intimately influence the curation of brands and designers found on Modern Metier.
Minh graduated with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia, before pursuing a Masters in Fashion, Design and Luxury Brand Management at Grenoble Ecole de Commerce.
